Prices

You could stay in a Casa Particular from $15.00 per day (two sharing a room). If you travel alone, budget for $30-35 per night, approximately. Your final price will be adjusted by:

• Season. Our high season falls in December-February and around Easter vacations.
• Location. Beach proximity will cost more, a vacation room in Havana more then in Baracoa.
• Period of Stay. If you book more then two weeks you could get a discount in some casas.
• Separate entry comes at a premium
• Extras, such as garage or bicycle

Your accommodation

Casa particular is a privately run Bed&Breakfast guest house in Cuba. The hosts rent rooms to tourists, usually one or two rooms per house. The prices are very competitive, even against cheap hotels. Breakfast is optional and does not need to be booked in advance. Many rooms have independent entry (that is not through the host's living area) and all are air-conditioned. Garages are rare. No internet (2016)

In the recent years the trend is towards independent apartments, with a living room and a kitchen. Recently, some casas pick-up guests at the airport for a fee only slightly higher then a taxi fare.
